What is a Video Wall?

A video wall is a large display consisting of multiple screens tiled together to create a unified and seamless visual experience. Brightness:

LCD videowall display mainly indoor, the brightness is 500nits, or 700nits . But LED videowall screens range from 800 nits to1000 nits, depends on indoor use or outdoor use. Outdoor led display requires a high brightness to have good visual experience under the sunshine,brightness may range from 4500 to 6500cd/m2. LED splicing screens can provide higher brightness and contrast, suitable for use in bright environments. LCD splicing screens have relatively low brightness and contrast, suitable for use in darker environments.

Color

LED splicing screen can provide brighter and richer colors because it is composed of red, green and blue primary color LED lights. LCD splicing screen color performance is relatively dim because it is composed of liquid crystal layer and backlight layer.

Lifespan

The lifespan of LED splicing screens is relatively short, usually around 50,000 hours. The lifespan of LCD splicing screens is longer, reaching more than 100,000 hours.

HDMI Splitter: This is the lowest cost signal processing solution in the video wall solution. Its function is to distribute one HDMI input signal to multiple screens.
