We know that the resolution of an LCD screen is 1920*1080, that is, when each screen displays a single image, each pixel corresponds to a physical pixel on the screen. In this way, our visual experience is very clear. If one pixel of our image corresponds to multiple pixels on the physical screen, the effect will appear blurred and stretched. Normally, for a 3*6 video wall, the whole screen will be 1920*1080, which means that the pixel of one image is presented by 18 liquid crystal molecules, which does not achieve the point-to-point effect. If the output resolution given by our computer is 3840*2160, then the pixel of each image is presented by 9 physical screen pixels, so the clarity will be twice as high as 1920*1080.

For example, if the resolution of our computer output is 3820*2160, and our LCD splicing wall is a 2*2 splicing wall, then one pixel of each image corresponds to one pixel of the actual physical screen. We call this situation point-to-point display, and the clarity is excellent.

So how do we achieve point-to-point display when there are a large number of screens and the combined size of the screens is relatively large?

For this situation, we first need to see how many screens we have and what kind of combination they are. If we can group them into a small 2*2 combination, see how many such combinations we can divide into. For example, a group of 4*8 splicing video wall screens, then we can group them into 8 groups of 2*2 video wall screens.
Then our computer signal needs to give 8 groups of 4K signals to our multi-screen image processor. The configuration of the multi-screen image processor must be 8-way 4K signal input and 32-way 1920*1080 output. In this way, the whole screen splicing effect can achieve point-to-point processing.
